Andy Bayer is Still Running Fast, Faster than Everyone

To say Andy Bayer is fast may be an understatement. In high school, you may remember Bayer took home a 2007 state title in the mile race for Leo.

Since winning state, and taking home local area Runner of the Year awards, Andy has been hitting it hard on the track for Indiana University.

So how fast is this former area all star? How about the fastest runner in the world. In January Andy set the year's world record for indoor 3000K race, with a time of 7:48. www.idsnews.com/news/story.aspx?id=79363

So what could Andy do for a world record encore, well just last week Andy ran a 3:53 split in the 1600m relay. That time of 3:53 means Andy ran the fastest split in NCAA mens history.

Congrats Andy,

You are a Summit City All Star
